What language do they speak in Uganda? Many… over 40 in fact. English and Swahili are the official languages. However Swahili isn’t spoken at all especially in central and southern Uganda.

Uganda as well as being linguistically diverse, it is also a multilingual country and most people speak more than one language. As well as English, Luganda is also widely spoken all over the capital Kampala and central areas.
